Baton Rouge, LA, October 8, 2020 – Brew Properties announced in October that BRP Construction LLC has been awarded the company’s latest commercial office building project. Located in the Perkins 8 Development on Perkins Road in Baton Rouge, the 3,000 sq ft commercial office building will serve as the new home office for local advertising agency, Brew Agency. The project is anticipated to break ground in February 2021 with project completion expected in August 2021.
The State of Louisiana, State Licensing Board for Contractors certified that BRP Construction LLC is duly licensed and entitled to practice the following classifications:
The LSLBC Building Construction classification refers to the erection of building structures and related landscaping, earthwork, parking areas, driveways, sidewalks, etc. Includes construction of parks, recreational facilities, golf courses, subdivision site work, cemeteries, mausoleums, swimming pools, and the raising, leveling and the moving of houses and other structures. Also includes the development of campuses, parks and subdivisions and additionally includes the demolishing only of buildings, houses, highway bridges, industrial piping, etc.

Scope of Work: Monsanto Dicamba is a new construction project located at the existing Monsanto facility in Luling, LA. The project includes ISBL/OSBL foundations, structural steel, equipment, piping and architectural buildings with a cost of $1.2 billion.
Responsibilities: Provide oversight of site prep, civil, and building contractors to ensure safety policies, procedures, schedule, budget and construction activity requirements are met. Validate change orders and assist with problem solving, engineering and contracts.
Client: ExxonMobil, Oct 2015 – Mar 2017
Scope of Work: RHLA is a unit retrofit and expansion at the Baton Rouge, LA refinery to accommodate new sulfur regulations in motor gasoline. This project included a retrofit for two units, new structures with associated equipment and piping and a budget of $90 million in construction cost.
Responsibilities: Provide oversight of civil, and a portion of mechanical contractors to ensure safety procedures, policies, schedule, budget, and construction activity requirements were met. Validate change orders, assist with problem solving, engineering and contracts.
Client: Methanex, Mar 2014 – Oct 2015
Scope of Work: Methanex is a methanol producing facility that was relocated from Chile, South America to Geismar, LA with a budget of $510 million. This industrial facility started as a new construction project and is now complete.
Responsibilities: Provide oversight of civil, cooling tower, coatings and architectural building contractors to ensure safety procedures, policies, schedule, budget, and construction activity requirements were met. Validate change orders, assist with problem solving, engineering and contracts.

Scope of Work: Eagle is a unit within the Exxon Mobil refinery that was retrofit and expanded to perform outside of it’s original design. $250 million.
